LG Ice Maker Freezing Up or Not Making Ice

On LG French-door models the ice maker sits in the fresh-food door or upper compartment, which is kept at fridge temperature. Warm, humid air sneaking past the ice compartment seal turns into frost, and in Clearwater's muggy months (April to November) that happens faster.
